Hi, How do I stop emailed copies of forum messages being sent to my email address? I had this setup when you originally went over to the Templot forum but I would now like to stop them but I can't find any flag (or whatever) in My Profile (or the button I thought would do it does not seem to clear). Regards, Ian Spalding |

If not you must be receiving the emails via the Templot Yahoo group. At the bottom of each email it probably says: "This is a message from the Templot Club user forums at http://85a.co.uk/forum You received it via the Templot email group on Yahoo." To stop receiving them, you need to log in on the Yahoo group. Go to: Yahoo group membership settings and under "Message Delivery" select the "Web only" option. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom. edit: p.s. I've checked and you are. I can change it for you if you wish? regards, Martin. |

Martin, Thanks. I had completely forgotten that that was where they came from. I've done the change. Now I've just got to sift through 4000 unread emails :-( Regards, Ian Spalding |

Martin, I am trying to stop the Templot Yahoo group feed to my old email address, having already started the email feed to my new email address from within Templot Club. I tried logging into the Yahoo group membership settings using my old email address as the login, and it said the account did not exist! To be honest, I do not remember ever having joined the Yahoo group. I thought you had set it up when I joined the original Templot group. Andrew Howlett |

You have never registered for a full account, which is why you couldn't log in to it. I have now removed you from the membership list, as you have set up full emails direct from the Templot Club forum instead. You won't receive any more emails via Yahoo. But it would be worth joining the Yahoo group again as a full member, setting "no email". You will then have access to the group Files and Photos sections on there, which still contain a lot of useful resources from the 7 years the group was active before this Templot Club site was started. regards, Martin. |
