Hello all, Firstly, thanks to all who have posted and encouraged me (and others) to simply get on and try something in Templot. I have had fun working through tutorials and then making my own changes - the best way to become familiar. I attach my first effort. A BR(S) west-country junction. This is only the east end so far - the west end is still in production. This bit is still to be completed and needs some work on check rails and timbering but all advice, comment etc will be gratefully received. Thanks and best regards, Matthew Coome |

After Martin's bump. I've had a look at this plan. I had to group select all, arrange names in column to get the name labels out of the way to take a closer look. The double slip's tiebars are interfering with each other which will make operation impossible. Also both the double slip and the single slips are much too close to each other. Perhaps you would be better off eliminating the carriage siding and thus the scissors crossover and double slip? I have made a start here, but be warned, I haven't ensured perfect alignment of the replacement turnouts! If you really must have a carriage siding, how about a tandem turnout? |

I rarely bother with them and just bring them back on show if I'm having trouble selecting a particular template in a crowded area. |
