Hi Mike,

Being in South Africa shouldn't make any difference.

The problem is that either your computer, or your internet provider, has cached an old copy of the file and is delivering it to Templot instead of the current file from the server.

That's a matter between you and your internet provider, and there is nothing I can do about it.

However, I will upload a program update shortly in which Templot looks at the USA server in the event that the file apparently from the UK server is out of date. At present it looks at the USA server only if no file is available from the UK server.

I can't guarantee that the change will fix your problem, but it may do.

regards,

Martin.

p.s. Mike,

The thought occurs that you are not installing the new version of Templot after downloading it.

You must Run (Open) the downloaded file. If your browser asks what to do with it, select Run. Or make a note of where it was saved, go there and double-click on it.

See: topic 2309

regards,

Martin.

No luck it shows Version 208b as the version after the download but back then takes me back into the loop.

Any chance I could go back to the old version I purchased I just need a code as I changed computers only recently.

Hi Martin,

My 208b has been working up to and including last night, Sept 30

I tried it today and was directed to download the 208b which I installed in a different location and get the same message  i.e. that it is not the latest version.  You have mentioned that an updated version that looks to a different server, will be available soon?

Regards

John
