I want to make a 3-way turnout to create more space where I currently have 2 B7s. Looking back at previous postings regarding what is possible (circa 2005) and having had a go at interlacing 2 B7s I'm not sure that is a permissible combination. Without spending a lot of time trying out various combinations, does anyone know what combinations in that region (1:6 to 1:8) work? Regards, Ian Spalding |

There is one such B8 + A6 in the Samples and examples section: topic 29 There is also a video available showing the basics of doing a tandem turnout. Scroll down to 3-way tandem turnouts. That one is a B8 + A7 tandem. If both angles are the same, it usually means a 3-throw turnout rather than a tandem. regards, Martin. |
