On the Amlwch branch:
Unusual 2-part hooked tie rods holding the waybeams to gauge. Or at least, I don't recall seeing any before. Tie rods are usually solid one-piece. Sometimes a screwed turnbuckle. The only reason I can think of for the 2-part design is that it makes it easier to replace a broken one on a bridge.
Plus a continuous check rail on a girder bridge for no obvious reason -- the curve ahead looks sharp enough for one, but the bridge is much less curved.
