  • The Plug Track functions are experimental and still being developed. Some of the earlier pages of this topic are now out-of-date.

For an updated overview of this project see this topic.   For some practical modelling aspects of using Plug Track see Building 3D Track.

The assumption is that you have your own machines on which to experiment, or helpful friends with machines. Please do not send Templot files to commercial laser cutting or 3D printing firms while this project is still experimental, because the results are unpredictable and possibly wasteful.

Some pages of this and other topics include contributions from members who are creating and posting their own CAD designs for 3D printing and laser-cutting. Do not confuse them with Templot's own exported CAD files. All files derived from Templot are © Martin Wynne.

Hi There,
I have just been informed the S4 society will be taking over the manufacture of Bill Bedford sprung W irons, can anybody confirm?
also the next question, is that just etched parts? Or is that the full Mousa range the S4 society will now be custodians of going forward?
I have tried to reach out to the Mousa web site but last few days now reply at all.
cheers
Phil

Hi Steve,
thanks Steve,
You may have to correct me here, but were all the BB W Iron range avaible through Eileen's Emporium? I though it was only some of the range though that supplier, and the others through wizard I think?
Also and I am going back a few years now, but I thought the full W iron range was also available on the Mousa site.
cheers
Phil

Hi Steve
Thanks an interesting link, seems to confirm the spring W-iron part
To answer your question both 1907 and 1923 W Iron sets 20 off of each fret, plus 10 off frets of RCH 9' wheel base wagon brake brake gear and 3 frets of the wagon safety loops
cheers

Hi Steve,
No I an only member of EMGS. it's the extra for overseas membership that limits how many society I can join. They all work with the same format unfortunately.
I would appreciate your support.
No need for that quantity to be honest, once again my only practical shipping option means buy in bulk.
cheers

About half that would be enough to start with to be honest, that's said it all come's down to how many they have and how frequently the plan to get new etchings made.
For the full picture I had account of wagons the other day both made and still to be made (almost all needing suspension at some point) and its 258 which surprised me a lot.
cheers
Phil
