Hello all
I know this has been mentioned in the past several times but I can't seem to find reference to the range of crossings for each. I recall Martin's advice to make sure the crossing was no shallower than the switch.
I have a D12 that is showing switch curve radius of 5516 and a turnout curve radius of 5121.62, so I am guessing that is OK It is a little long for the location chosen, but when I try a C12 it comes out as 3840 for both.
Have I got that right and if so, does that mean a C12 is a viable combination?
PS these are RAM. Could anyone remind me how to enter the data directly as CLM, please? I seem to remember it was a case of prefixing it with a letter, but I've tried all 26 and it doesn't work.
Many thanks and best wishes to all for Christmas and New Year. Look on the bright side, it can't possibly be worse than 2021... (although I seem to remember saying similar a year ago)
