    The assumption is that you have your own machines on which to experiment, or helpful friends with machines. Please do not send Templot files to commercial laser cutting or 3D printing firms while this project is still experimental, because the results are unpredictable and possibly wasteful.

Good you tube video on track maintenance, part two turnouts and crossings - great video showing not only the maintenance but also a detailed naming of the components used

Great detailed video filmed in 1952 by the British transport commission, real focus on turnouts and crossings. Showing and naming all the detailed parts, also how to check and repair these keys elements, very good if used in conjunction with the 1928 REA PDF document.
